On Thursday, 16th May, from 12 noon to 2 pm, the Open Day for research and master's degree programmes of the Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences at the University of Milan will take place. The university is a partner of OnFoods and leads the research activities of Spoke 4, “Food Quality and Nutrition”, aiming to improve the quality of food and nutrition to meet the needs and expectations of modern consumers.

Sustainable development is a key focus of the research themes at the Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences. The research outcomes provide a solid and advanced foundation for the entire educational offering of the faculty.

During the Open Day, in the courtyard of the faculty, a demonstrative poster route will be created, with young researchers present to engage with visitors, describing research projects that develop sustainable approaches in agriculture, environmental and water resource management, food production, nutrition, bioeconomy, and circular economy. There will also be stations with faculty representatives and the distribution of informational material on the eight master's degree programmes offered by the departments of the faculty.
