The project "DEFOWA – The need for a uniform definition of food waste at international and national level," among the research activities of the extended partnership OnFoods, aims to develop policy proposals and regulatory interventions so that the agri-food industry can adopt effective and sustainable measures for the prevention and reduction of food waste throughout the entire supply chain. For this reason, the University of Pavia Department believes it is important to listen to the opinions and proposals coming from all sector stakeholders.
Participation in the survey is crucial for the success of the research and to contribute to a more sustainable and aware future in this particular field of application.
The valuable contribution of each participant will allow the analysis of significant data and the formulation of recommendations that reflect the real needs of the agri-food industry. For any clarifications or further information, please write to the email address andrea.iurato@unipv.it. The scientific coordinator of the research is Professor Carola Ricci of the Department of Political and Social Sciences at the University of Pavia.
